Ammi Visnaga

Ammi visnaga is native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa, and can be found throughout the world as an introduced species. This annual plant grows up to 80cm tall from one main tap root. Its leaves are generally oval to triangular in shape, up to 2 cm in length, and dissected into many small linear to lance-shaped segments. When the umbels dry, they cluster together to create domed seed heads.

Our dried Ammi visnaga is grown in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. After being harvested and dried, it is sent to the Without Wax studio, where we hand-select the dried seed heads to be packaged and sent out.
