Edgar Corroll (b. 2001, London, England) is a mixed media artist specialising in film, photography, and the spoken word. His practice documents site-specific places to explore the relationship between people and their landscapes. Influenced by philosophical concerns and place, Edgar’s work prompts contemplation to explore peoples connection with their physical and interior landscapes, supported by found materials and documented field recordings. Material holds significance in Edgar's art, contributing to the creation of specific atmospheres. Ultimately, Edgar's work transcends mere documentation, offering a fresh perspective on the intricate interplay between humanity and our environments. Language has played a component in his work as he explores even how language becomes a characteristic birthed from our landscapes influence.
